Audiences Consumption Survey

The survey that was sent to the 20 recipients:

Recipients were aged between 11 and 68 years old.

My personal answers to the survey (not included in the graphs below):

The graphs of data/results:

In conclusion, from observing the results, it is clear that the support and watching of DVDs has significantly dropped in popularity to other streaming services such as Netflix, Neon and Lightbox etc. This is proved by almost every age group, with the 10-20 year old's only watching an average of 0.2 hours of DVDs per day on average, but a whole 2 hours on streaming services. One outlier, is the age group of the 60-70 year old's who spend 2 hours watching DVDs and no time watching Netflix or Neon. This could just be because of their older age causing them to know less about the new, modern online services and ways of watching television, or their preferring of their usual way of enjoying a movie as they always have. It can also be concluded that those below 30 years old and above about 45 years old watch the most movies per year, with the 50-60 year old's watching up to 200 movies per year on average. This could be because the older generations have more time to spend enjoying a movie. Similarly, those below 30 years old and older than 40 years old watch more movies at the cinemas. One reason for the 30-40 year old's watching a low 3 movies at the cinema per year onaverage could be because they are usually, typically young parents who probably do not have the time to go to the cinemas, and instead spend their time looking after and running around their little ones at home.
